ForcedForced は、 風が吹いたから…ではじまる16枚の絵で構成された絵本である。 原因（風が吹いたから）→ 結果（〇〇になった）という形で内容は進んでいくが、 本当に風が原因なのかは自分でもよくわからない。 とはいえ、 なぜか、 自然現象が理由ならしょうがないかと納得してしまう気もする。 もしかすると私たちの思考は自然によって強いられているのかもしれない。 そんなこじつけのような発想からタイトルを Forced と名付け、 その硬質さを和らげるためにリソグラフ印刷を取り入れた。 幸運なことに、 印刷のズレがまるで風を表しているようにも見える。
Forced is a picture book of 16 illustrations, each starting with "Because the wind blew." The story unfolds through cause and effect—the wind blows, and something happens. Yet, I'm not entirely sure the wind is truly the cause. Still, if nature is the reason, it feels easier to accept. Maybe our thoughts are shaped by it more than we realize. With this idea in mind, I chose the title Forced and softened its rigid tone with risograph printing. Fortunately, the slight misalignment in the prints almost seems to depict the wind itself.
