TASK COFFEE
TASK COFFEE はバリスタの田崎将司が東京の千歳船橋に構えたスペシャルティコーヒーショップであり、 その立ち上げにあたり、 グラフィックデザインと撮影を担当した。 事前のやりとりで、 コーヒーは感情に左右されない割り切りと繰り返しの単純作業が大切だという店主の思いを聞いていたため、 ロゴもその考えに倣って、 できる限りシステマチックにつくることにした。 結果としてゲームを思わせる書体が出来上がり、 それがパッケージデザインのアートワークや、 TASK COFFEE のキーワードのひとつでもある SAVE POINT という言葉の誕生にもつながった。
TASK COFFEE is a specialty coffee shop established by barista Masashi Tasaki in Chitose-Funabashi, Tokyo. I was responsible for graphic design and photography during its setup. In our prior discussions, I learned that the owner values precision and repetitive tasks that aren't swayed by emotions. Reflecting this philosophy, I aimed to create the logo as systematically as possible. The result was a font reminiscent of a game, which led to the creation of the term "SAVE POINT," one of the key concepts for TASK COFFEE, and influenced the artwork for the packaging design.
